ICE DISASTER

Wednesday 15th February - We went ice-skating at Ally Pally with our friends Billy and Frankie.

It was really fun!! It was mega busy because it was half term which made it difficult to skate properly as there were so many people going in all different directions just like a rugby scrum!

Someone tackled me and knocked me flying like a flamingo doing the can can while flapping hysterically!!

SAVE THE WHALE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today we went to the cinema to see Big Miracle it is about three whales that get stuck under the ice in Antartica. It is really sad because the baby whale dies, which is very disappointing especially for the Greenpeace lady.

I liked the baby whale who was nicknamed Bam Bam, he was entangled in some net over his tail and had a big sore on his nose from bashing the ice to the air hole open. He was very brave.

I recommend this film, even though it is very upsetting.

Fly 360 Simulator!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On the 14th of Febuary I went to the science museum with my sister,my mum and my sisters friend. I went on a fly 360 simulator and a fly with the red arrows in fly zone ride/movie. The simulator was the best because I went on my own and you got to control it and you could go upside down side ways and backwards it was brilliant!!!!!!!

Let Them Eat Cake

On Sunday we had a baking day. My sister made biscuits , my mum cooked some kind of fancy beef stew for friends coming to dinner and I made this marvellous raspberry cake! Yum Yum Yum xx

Polka Dot Tastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yayoi Kusama loves polka dots everywhere and especially in her own art. We went to the Tate Modern and saw some of her spotty art work. Some of them were just polka-dot-tastic! My favourite was the Infinity Room, which had water on the floor and mirrors on the walls. There were little ball lights that were hanging from the ceiling that kept changing colours and were reflected in the water and the mirrors. It was amazing and felt magical, I didn't want it to end!

Movie Time!

On Saturday 11th February I went to see Journey 2 - The Mysterious Island. It is an adventurous comedy, where a teenage boy called Sean, finds a forgotten island, where his grandfather lives. Sean cracks a code with his Stepfather Hank and together they hire a helicopter pilot ( Gabator) and his beautiful daughter (Kailani), who Sean falls in love with. But nothing is as easy as it seems.....
I would recommend this movie to somebody who loves reading but also loves adventure, so I would recommend it to Jess Cattley ( one of my best friends).
